With over 20 years of clinical social worker experience with adolescents, adults and families, Christy has developed a deep clinical practice in both therapy and hospital settings. She offers specialized psychotherapy to individuals and families navigating the challenges of complex health conditions such as those struggling with an eating disorder. She is highly trained and experienced in the gold standard treatment protocols of Family Based Treatment (FBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT).

In addition to treating those who struggle with disordered eating, Christy offers proficient clinical guidance around the difficult life tasks of managing illness & injury, palliative care and end of life decision making. Decades of experience with families and healthcare have equipped Christy with the skills needed to navigate the naturally arising conflict that comes during these stressful times of life. As healthcare systems are increasingly difficult to access and understand, Christy assists in lifting the fog and teaching necessary patient advocacy.

While providing these types of specialized treatments, Christy also focuses on developing authentic, strengths-based relationships that help her clients to redefine strength, find beauty, and cultivate healing amidst challenging times.

Christy provides in-person therapy appointments on Wednesdays only. Telehealth is available as an option based on individual circumstances and insurance coverage or payment choice.

Given the complexity of this therapeutic work, the goodness of fit between therapist and client is assessed ongoing, and enduring throughout the course of care. Referrals provided as needed. Click here to learn more about Christy.
