“It took me quite a long time to develop a voice and now that I have it, I am not going to be silent.”
– Madeleine Albright
Alyssa is excited to be joining Cultivate as a therapist. She is a strong believer in providing client-centered therapy through a feminist lens. She fully believes everyone can benefit from talking through their fears, insecurities, and worries as well as their successes. Therapy should be a safe place where people can go to feel supported, heard, challenged, and validated.
Alyssa works hard to ensure her clients feel those things throughout their therapeutic experience. Alyssa is also active in the community in organizing volunteers for reproductive justice. She has experience in outpatient mental health therapy as well as higher levels of care. She works with people 18 years of age and older. Areas of interest and expertise include body image, anxiety, relationships, sexual assault/violence, social inequalities, and life adjustments.
